Descripción del curso:

The curriculum includes courses covering such topics as leadership; information, operational, commercial, and retail security; executive protection; laws and legal procedures; and security management in a global business environment. A capstone project provides an opportunity to apply and demonstrate their security management skills. People who choose this specialization may include military, public safety, or private security personnel who wish to pursue management positions focused on private security risk management and asset protection.

Applicant should be a high school diploma or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution and must be at least 24 years old. They are expected to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently and whose language of instruction is not English are required to take one of the following tests: the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB), or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The only exception to this requirement is reserved for learners who have earned a postsecondary degree from a U.S. accredited university. The minimum acceptable TOEFL scores is 550 for the paper-based test, 213 for the computer-based test with a score of 4.0 or higher on the Test of Written English (TWE), or a score of 79 for those completing the Internet-based examination. The minimum acceptable MELAB score is 80, and the minimum acceptable score for the IELTS is 6.5.
