In 1871 the University Of Wisconsin-Oshkosh began as the Oshkosh State Normal School at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It attained the university status in 1964. It is part of the University of Wisconsin System and offers both bachelor and master degrees. The most popular study programs of the university are in the fields of accounting, nursing, business, teaching and fine arts which are spanned through the 4 colleges of the university, namely, Business Administration, Education & Human Services, Letters & Science and Nursing.
